Turn on blocking

  1. Open AdStop and click Turn On AdStop.
  2. Safari's settings open at Extensions. Switch on AdStop Ads, AdStop Privacy, AdStop Annoyances and AdStop Insights.
  3. For AdStop Insights, allow access on all websites. It counts what was blocked on each page and declines cookie banners; what it records stays on your Mac.
  4. Back in AdStop, click Open Test Page. The ads on it should be gone, and AdStop's window shows what was blocked.
